Announcement For The 2020-2021 Academic Year Fall Semester For Turkish Students Study At International and Abroad Transfer From Abroad

Application Principles
• In applications made from universities abroad, the university (higher education institution) where the candidate is studying and the program in which the education is made must be recognized by YÖK ( Higher Education Institution in Turkey) as an institution authorized to issue a bachelor's degree.
• The candidate must be successful in all courses and have a GPA of at least 70/100 (2.00 / 4.00).
• For the 2020-2021 Academic Year applications, the principles specified in the link will be applied. The https://www.yok.gov.tr/ogrenci/kuresel-salgin-dolayisiyla-yurt-icindeki-yuksekogretim-kurumlarina-yatay-gecis-kosul
• Among the equivalent programs, those whose language of instruction is English will be able to apply for transfer to programs that teach in English.
Evaluation of Applications
• Applications are evaluated by the International Student Selection Commission and decided by the Faculty Board of Directors.
Required Documents for Application
1- Application form,
2- A copy of the high school diploma,
3- Current student certificate of the program in which he / she is registered (must be received within the last 1 month),
4- Transcript and course contents (must be submitted in a sealed envelope as approved by the student affairs office),
5- The internet printout of the YKS result document of the year in which the exam held by ÖSYM for Turkish students,
6- For the students registered from the quota abroad, the exam result document that enables them to be accepted to the program,
7- A document showing the language of instruction of the diploma program in the higher education institution where he / she is studying.
Announcement of Results and Adjustment Program
• The evaluation results of candidates who apply for undergraduate transfer to each diploma program will be announced on the Konya Food and Agriculture University website on 21 August 2020.
• If there are enough candidates meeting the condition of success, reserve candidates will be announced as many as the quota. If there are candidates who did not register within the specified period, backups are invited one after the other.
• The relevant commissions determine which semester or class the student will be adapted to, taking into account the courses the student took in the previous semesters and the courses of the undergraduate transfer program, and determine the courses to be exempted with an adjustment program consisting of additional courses that the student should take, if any. The notes taken before about these courses are written on the transcript.

* According to the decision taken by the Higher Education Executive Board, 50% of the international transfer quotas of the programs other than Engineering and Architecture Programs, which have a success order condition, were removed, and these programs were allowed to allocate foreign quotas as much as the domestic transfer quota.

** According to the decision taken by the Executive Board of Higher Education, according to the 6th article of the framework regulation of the Council of Higher Education, stating that "no transfer can be made to the first two semesters and the last two semesters of undergraduate diploma programs", students whose transfer applications are restricted are also for the 2020-2021 academic year. They have been given the opportunity to apply for transfer in the fall semester.
