Associate Professor Dr. Salim Atay, the President of the Presidential Human Resources Office, visited our Rector Prof. Dr. Erol Turan in his office. Dr. Salim Atay visited our university prior to the preparatory meetings with relevant universities for the International Agriculture, Food, and Livestock Career Fair, which will be held under the auspices of the Presidency. During the visit, Dr. Salim Atay received information about the activities and projects carried out at our university from the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kılıç, Board of Trustees Member Prof. Dr. Ali Karabacak, and our Rector, Prof. Dr. Erol Turan. Our Rector warmly welcomed Dr. Salim Atay in his office and then introduced our university's existing and newly established laboratories and analysis centers related to agriculture and food. He also provided information about student, faculty, and technology transfer office projects. Engaging in conversations with students, Atay expressed his wish for our students to present the advanced agriculture, R&D, industrial, and community-oriented projects to visitors during the International Agriculture, Food, and Livestock Career Fair, which will take place in February. Dr. Salim Atay emphasized the significant mission of the university for the region and congratulated our Rector on his new position, wishing him success in his endeavors.
