Konya Food and Agriculture University was founded by the "Scientific Research Technology Education and Culture Foundation" under the umbrella of Konya Sugar Inc. which established by cooperative members of sugar beet farmers in 2013 at Konya, the capital of peace and tolerance and graduated its first students in 2020. It is the first and only specialized university in the fields of food and agriculture in our country.
Konya Food and Agriculture University, which is supported by the region's farmers, has taken firm steps towards becoming a national and international higher education institution of choice, with the power it receives from the Anadolu Birlik Holding, founded in 2008 to develop sustainable models that improve world standards in agricultural development and agricultural-industry integration.
Following in the footsteps of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, we believe in the guiding power of reason and science, knowing that the most basic element of success is perseverance and hard work, and we aim to contribute to the development of science and profession and to train individuals who are proficient in their own culture, have universal human values, value human beings, and are equipped with the ideal of serving humanity.
As Konya Food and Agriculture University, we accept it as our duty to support the farmers who work for the development and prosperity of our country and region, and to ensure that all living creatures have access to healthy and clean food. We invite young people, stakeholders, and scientists who want to walk with us on this path and have a say in the future of our country to our university, where we have internationally trained faculty members, ongoing projects, well-equipped laboratories, and modern, intelligent classrooms.
