Our faculty member of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Dr. Gülcihan Gülseren won the L'Oréal-UNESCO "For Women in Science" program, one of the most important awards given to women in science in our country.

Winning the program in Life and Environmental Sciences, Asst. Prof. Gülcihan Gülseren was also entitled to receive an award of 120,000 TL to use in her scientific research. 

The awards, which are an extension of the international "For Women in Science" program and are given with the aim of encouraging women scientists in our country to conduct scientific studies, have started to be given in Turkey since 2003.
