“PlantWave" team of the Department of Plant Production & Technologies in the Faculty of Agriculture & Natural Sciences, consisting of Ayşenur Sucu, Ayşe Taşkir, Fadime Dilşad Taş, Muhammed Osman Yavuz, and Sena Yağcı under the academic supervision of Dr. Dilek Killi Haworth, has earned the right to receive financial support and participate in Teknofest Istanbul Final by scoring 98 out of 100 in the project detail report of the Teknofest Agricultural Technologies Competition. Last year, the project ranked 5. in Turkey by detecting current and potential diseases with signals from plants. This year, biological control methods for detected diseases and pests have also been added to provide a comprehensive solution. We congratulate the members of our university's PlantWave team members Ayşenur Sucu, Ayşe Taşkir, Fadime Dilşad Taş, Muhammed Osman Yavuz and Sena Yağcı, and their advisor, Dr. Dilek Killi Haworth, and wish them continued success.
