Our students Tuğba Ceylan from the Department of BioEngineering in Faculty of Engineering and Architecture and Keziban Okutan from the Department of Molecular Biology & Genetics in Faculty of Agriculture & Natural Sciences have been awarded funding under the "TÜBİTAK 2209/A University Student Research Projects Support Program" for their project titled "Production of Ethyl Alcohol for Disinfectant Purposes from Cheese Whey." We congratulate our students and advisors for their work on this project, which was submitted to TÜBİTAK with the guidance of Dr. Assistant Professor Hale İnci Öztürk and with significant contributions from Prof. Dr. Sencer Buzrul and wish them continued success.
