Our BAMMY team, founded by Damlanur Soyarı, a student from our Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Sciences, achieved 7th place in the Agricultural Technologies competition at TEKNOFEST 2021. The team, led by Damlanur Soyarı, and consisting of our students Muhammet Ali Yıldız, Hatice Boyar, Furkan Ali Tunç, and Furkan İyigökler from the Faculty of Engineering & Architecture, has been working on a new project called OKRABOT for TEKNOFEST 2022. The project, under the supervision of our university's Research Assistant Aysun Öcal from the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, aims to start working on Agriculture 5.0 with an autonomous okra harvesting robot integrated with artificial intelligence technology. OKRABOT has been successful in the preliminary evaluation stage of the TEKNOFEST 2022 Agricultural Technologies competition and has earned the right to move on to the detailed stage.
