In the "2021 University Monitoring and Evaluation General Report" published by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) on February 18, 2022, in which state and foundation universities in our country are evaluated in different categories, our university ranked first among all universities in Turkey, including state and foundation universities, in terms of the scholarship rate of its students, investment and research project revenues for its students. Konya Food and Agriculture University ranked 1st among all universities in Turkey with a 100% rate in the ranking of the rate of students benefiting from educational scholarships, which expresses the ratio of the number of students benefiting from educational scholarships provided by universities to the total number of students. At the rate of students benefiting from educational scholarships, which is about 9% in Turkey, Konya Food and Agriculture University has achieved a rate more than 10 times the average of Turkey with the education scholarships it provides to its students. Konya Food and Agriculture University also ranked 1st among foundation universities in Turkey and ranked 2nd among all universities in the "Central Extra-Budget Income Ratio", which shows the ratio of the total non-central budgetary income, such as income, revolving funds, and funds including projects and research to the actual annual budget of the university. With the effect of R&D and project revenues, the central extra-budgetary income rate of our university reached 57%, while the average of universities in Turkey in this category was approximately 9%, according to the report. According to the amount of current expenditure per student, another important criterion in the report published by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), Konya Food and Agriculture University, by ranking 5th among foundation universities in Turkey and 6th among all universities, once again demonstrated the value it attaches to its students in a concrete way, as in previous years. We would like to express our gratitude to all our stakeholders, especially our farmers, Anadolu Birlik Holding and Konya Şeker A.Ş., who contributed to the creation of this data, which shows the importance and seriousness of our university within the scope of education and research activities for our country.
