Our undergraduate students from Bioengineering (Elmas Nur Ekmekçibaşı), Computer Engineering (Halime Kurnaz), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Sabriye Nur Şentürk) and our graduate students from the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics (Sümeyye Atmaca, Fatma Özlem Urgan) are members of the TUTA-ÇANKA Team. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kıvanç Bilecen is the project consultant of the team. The team aimed to find a more effective and harmless way of agricultural spraying by combining agricultural control and technology. The developed spraying robot can be used against the plant pest detected with the help of visual processing by means of the biological isolate developed as a result of the project supported by the General Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policies (TAGEM). With this project, researchers from different fields aim to develop agricultural technologies that will increase efficiency in the field by using the biological control method. We congratulate our students and their advisors and wish them continued success.
