Melike Ebrar Bakırcı's project titled "Synthesis of Fullerenol Molecule and Investigating the Anticancer Effects on Breast Cancer Cells by Giving Combined Treatment with Dexamethasone", presented to TÜBİTAK under the consultancy of Dr. Gülcihan Gülseren, was among the projects to be supported within the scope of TÜBİTAK 2209/A University Students Research Projects Support Program. It is aimed to examine the effect of the combined application of a glucocorticoid drug that has clinical application together with the anticancer agent synthesized by the project on anticancer activity.
